The hottest thing on the Internet is not social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter, but Flickr-the popular photo-sharing portal – and the proof is: it has topped TIME’s list of the best 50 websites this year.
One of the noticeable trends in this year’s list, which was released this week, was on-demand video services, like YouTube, Vimeo and US services Hulu and Netflix.
However, the top two in the list were related to photographs, with California Coastline following Flickr at the second spot.

Old Testament is the Synthesis

It was created by a man penning under the name of kalki bhagwan xpected avatar of vishnu(hindu god) n near future…..

If things go as planned, the Indian tricolour will mark its presence on the moon tonight (around 8.30pm IST) after having flown
3,86,000km from the earth. The timing of this proud moment has been specially designed to coincide with Children’s Day.
The United States, the former Soviet Union and the European Space Agency comprising 17 countries already have their flags on the moon.
The Indian tricolour is painted on all sides of the 29-kg Moon Impact Probe which is attached to the main orbiting spacecraft, Chandrayaan-1, which was launched on October 22.
The inclusion of the MIP as part of the Chandrayaan mission came at the suggestion of former President A P J Abdul Kalam, a former rocket scientist, during the International Lunar Exploration Working Group conference held at Udaipur in November 2004.
The Indian tricolour has been hoisted on Mount Everest and Antarctica. And now it will be on the moon though it will not be hoisted.
The flight of the MIP on Friday is expected to be a forerunner to the second Indian moon mission, Chandrayaan-2, which will carry a Russian rover and alander slated for lift-off between 2010 and 2012. The crash landing of MIP will help in assessing future soft-landing technologies.

Last night I was trying to install the Java Plug-in for my Firefox. One of my buddies suggested me a website having cool Applets on Maths Physics and Engineering Phenomenans , which made me to try my best to enable the plug-in and have a look at them. When i opened this web page, it said “Java Plug-in Not Found” and gave me an option to install it. I used the link which started the FireFox Plug-in installer, which tried installing the plug-in and ended up saying ” Not able to install the plug-in” and further gave me an option to try installing JRE (Java Runtime Environment) it manually. As I was determined to see the applets the night, I decided to install the JRE manually. It took me to the Sun Java download page, where there were options to select th package I would like to download. There I found the package for my FedoraCore 4, eventually an RPM package, but in a hurry I downloaded ‘binary’ package instead of the ‘RPM’. But as I have previous successful experiences in installing with a Binary source code, I was determined to face the challenge
. I installed the package and sought the installation help in the same Sun Java site. I sincerely followed the steps it said, first as an User with Root permit, then logged in as the ‘root’ itself to prevent confusion. The package got successfully installed at the determined location such that all users would be able to use it ( /usr/Java/jre/ ).
Now, as I have downloaded and installed the JRE successfully, I then started the FireFox and went to the site, eager to view the applets. But, still luck hasn’t been with me. Though the JRE got installed there were no corresponding plug-ins in ‘ /etc/firefox/plugins/ ‘ directory. On my LUGC buddy Prashant’s advice finally made a Google for ‘Java Plugin Install for Firefox’ and ended up here. Let me make a brief procedure to install the plug-in, if after installing JRE, still suffer from “No Plug-in Found” problem.
- Assuming that you installed ur JRE in ‘ /usr/Java/jre….. ‘ as I did, then ur plugin canbe found at :
' /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_01/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so ‘ .
- Open the terminal and gain root access with su.
- Go to the firefox plugins directory which will be most probably ‘ /etc/firefox1.0/7/plugins/ ‘ using :
# cd /etc/firefox1.0.7/plugins
- Issue the following command at the shell prompt :
# ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_01/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32 /libjavaplugin_oji.so
- Now check the firefox plugins directory for the plugin, which would have a symbolic link of the actual plugin you have it your JRE plugins directory, using :
# ls -a /etc/firefox1.0.7/plugins
- If you find the plugin there, Kudos! You have installed the plugin. Now turn on your Firefox and check the site I told you. As I was able to, when you click on any of the applets a separate window wall pop up and display you the applets

If you have any difficulties then make a Google, or ask some mailing-list, and if the problem still persists then feel free to contact the Firefox Help.
TechnoFreaking Continues…..
Update for Ubuntu Dapper Drake:
There is a few changes when trying the same in Ubuntu Dapper Drake, which I did a few minutes ago. They are,
1. Create a new directory called ‘jre’ within ‘/usr/share/java’ and CD into that directory before running the downloaded file. This will install the j2re within the ‘/usr/share/java/jre/’ directory.
2. Copy the plugin file into /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/’ for global effect and into ‘~/.mozilla/plugins/’ for local effect.

There is a Trojan/virus (either the Win32/Pacex virus or the Win32/PSW.Agent.NDP trojan) that uses those two files. Here is how you can get rid of them:
1) Open up Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del)
2) If wscript.exe is running, end it.
3) If explorer.exe is running, end it.
4) Open up “File | New Task (Run)” in the Task manager
5) Run cmd
6) Run the following command del #:\autorun.* /f/a/s/q with other drives in turn
where # is replaced by drive name e.g-c,d,e etc
Be careful with this command it can delete your all data one by one from your hdd if execute wrongly so place your mouse on x position of cmd prompt windows and if it starts deleting your files close it
or we can do this step by without ending explorer.exe
just hit windows+R it will show you run dialog box now type cmd there,it will give you command prompt
now navigate to #:\ where # replaced with your different drive name
i am taking the example of c:\ drive
now write c:\del/a/s/q/f and give a space now press tab until you see autorun.inf press enter
now yo done do the rest steps as i said (be careful see clearly autorun.inf before deleting it and don’t delete any ntdelect there it may crash your system)
7) Go to your Windows\System32 directory by typing cd c:\windows\system32
8 ) Type dir /a avp*.*
9) If you see any files names avp0.dll or avpo.exe or avp0.exe, use the following commands to delete each of them:
attrib -r -s -h avpo.exe
del avpo.exe
SOURCE:www.thehackerslibrary.com
10) Use the Task Manager’s Run command to fire up regedit
11) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run (as usual, take a backup of your registry before touching it!)
12) If there are any entries for avpo.exe, delete them.
13) Do a complete search of your registry for ntde1ect.com and delete any entries you find.
14) Restart your computer.

Ignore the pain in my eyes,
Knock me to the floor.
Here I’ve shattered, lieing in despise,
And can’t reach the door.
Can’t let go, not even time can tell,
Fallen so far, no one notices I fell.
My eyes tell the story of how I’ve gotten so far down,
Just tossed aside, and thrown onto the mound.Sure you may see
My lungs gasping for air,
But no one cares,
What’s the use trying to get you to see the damage done here?
Gotta get away, somehow, someway.
This is what I have to do
To pull through the the obstacle I’m in,
And that obstacle my friend, is you.
Wish you could see
Just how much pain you’ve caused me.
Wish I could go back and get this to mend,
But time is the one thing I cannot bend.

Taare Zameen par s really heart touching movie.A voice to dyslexic ppl.Not only child it may b noticed at any age.awsome acting by Ishaan awasthi.I too cried while he had.a sal to amir kaan whos producer of the film nd ofcourse live dhis role RAM chand nikumb. The other characters serve their purpose as caricatures – stereotypical father, loving mother, understanding sibling, ruthless teachers, and jeering peers.

the scene n which he shows his painting to nikumb nd nikumb’s to ishaan.nd their facial reactions are wonderful .

I feel that a good domain name can help an online business become more visible, credible and accessible. And it can also help a person make a fortune. While finding one was very prohibitive, we can be a part of the gold rush, too.
Let’s do the math! Over 23 million “.com” names have been registered, and over 22 thousand are being purchased every day. It means that you’re more likely to win the lottery than find a good domain name.
Here is a list of record selling domain name:
- business.com sold for $7.5 million
- altavista.com sold for $3.3 million
- loans.com sold for $3 million
- CreditCards.com sold for $2.75 million
- autos.com sold for $2.2 million
- wallstreet.com sold for $1.03 million
- forsalebyowner.com sold for $835,000
- drugs.com sold for $825,000
- cinema.com sold for $700,000
- art.com sold for $450,000
- engineering.org sold for $199,000
Not only that big list, some other domain are trading everyday on eBay from somewhere between $100 to $1000.
Why? Why do these people pay that much just for a domain name? This s bcz domain s the thing upon which you will build your online business. And like real estate, the location s just as important — being accessible.

10 yrs of regular mobile use raises cancer risk
Ten years of regular mobile use is enough to increase the risk of cancer and the risk could be more when you use it for longer periods, Swedish scientists warn.
|

|
The damaging effect of cell phone use has been suspected for long. While some studies have earlier shown that people who use cell phones for long periods face the risk of developing malignant brain tumours, some had said they did not find such evidences.
The latest study by researchers at University Hospital in Orebro and Umea University analysed the results of 11 previous studies carried out around the world. They examined long-term users because cancer can take more than a decade to develop.
They said almost all studies in the past had discovered an increased risk of cancer.
In the new study, the researchers said they found that long-term users had double the chances of getting a malignant tumour on the side of the brain where they held the handset.
An hour a day on a mobile phone is thought to be enough to increase the risk, reported the online edition of the Daily Mail.
The analysis revealed that those who have used their phones for at least a decade are 20 per cent more likely to contract acoustic neuromas (a type of brain tumour) and 30 per cent more likely to get malignant gliomas (a common brain tumour).
The study published in the latest issue of the journal Occupational Environmental Medicine showed that the risk is even greater on the side of the head the handset is held. Long-term users were twice as likely to get the gliomas and two-and-a-half times more likely to get the acoustic neuromas than other people.
Children should be discouraged from using mobiles because their thinner skulls and developing nervous systems made them especially vulnerable. Adults should exercise caution, the scientists warned.
